Our Work

The Pradyumn & Elizabeth Jain Foundation has grown and adapted over the past two decades, continually enhancing its feeding initiatives. Alongside this, we've introduced various non-feeding efforts to amplify the impact of our core mission—the school feeding program. The overall development and well-being of children are at the heart of everything we do. Through these initiatives, we strive to build a world where children no longer have to choose between food and education; they can access the best of both.

Feeding Programmes

1. The PM POSHAN (Mid-Day Meal Scheme) - school lunch program primarily serves children in primary (grades I-V) and upper primary (grades VI-VIII) classes in government and government-aided schools. In certain states, the program also extends to students in secondary grades (IX-X).
2. The ICDS Anganwadi Feeding Programme - primarily targets pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children aged 0-6 years as its beneficiaries.
3. The Breakfast Programme - is designed to alleviate short-term hunger among school children, enhancing their concentration and focus in class.
4. Food Assistance - The Food Assistance initiative aims to utilize kitchen infrastructure for humanitarian relief during times of crisis. While efforts have typically focused on regional support, food relief was extended nationwide during the COVID-19 pandemic..

Non-Feeding Programmes

1. Digital Education - An effort to close the digital divide and promote inclusivity by providing students from economically weaker sections with free access to quality, modern education. .
2. Scholarship Programme - The initiative recognizes deserving students from government schools and colleges in underprivileged communities and assists them in obtaining scholarships to continue their education.
3. School Rejuvenation Programme - Inspired by the Government's Model School initiative, this effort seeks to create a supportive environment for children through various infrastructural and academic improvements.

Financial Assistance

We offer direct financial assistance to cover essential medical expenses, including surgeries, hospital stays, medications, and follow-up care. Our aim is to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent any child from receiving the crucial care they need.

Support Services

Alongside financial assistance, we provide resources and guidance to help families navigate the healthcare system and access extra support services. This includes offering assistance with transportation, accommodation, and counselling to ease the burden during their child's treatment. Our goal is to alleviate the stress and logistical difficulties associated with obtaining critical care.

Partnerships

We work in partnership with hospitals, medical professionals, and other organizations to make sure our support reaches those who need it most and to advocate for better healthcare access for underprivileged children. By teaming up with top hospitals and healthcare providers, and we ensure that the children we assist receive top-notch care. These collaborations enable us to obtain discounted or pro bono services, enhancing the effectiveness of every dollar donated
